The “Houston Dragon Academy ” Education Brand Expands into Full-Time Bilingual Education!
Officially announced! In 2025, the “LongXue” education brand will launch a new branch — Dragon Mandarin Immersion School, marking its official entry into the field of full-time bilingual education.
This new brand is supported by the Houston Mandarin Immersion Foundation (HMIF), an independent nonprofit organization established in 2025. HMIF operates The Mandarin Immersion School of Houston (MISH) — the predecessor of Dragon Mandarin Immersion School — which offers dual-language immersion programs for kindergarten through
grade 3.
The original MISH was founded in response to the growing demand among families for high-quality full-time bilingual education. After months of preparation and community-building, the school has already developed a strong foundation of parent engagement and support. Now, with “LongXue” infusing its educational philosophy and management expertise, the new Dragon Mandarin Immersion School aims to cultivate bilingual learners proficient in both Mandarin and English. Through cultural exploration and research, students are guided to connect with tradition, develop global awareness, and appreciate diversity. At the same time, the program integrates STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) to nurture creativity, curiosity, and innovation — preparing students for the challenges of the future.
This milestone marks not only the rapid growth of the “LongXue” education brand but also the realization of its long-held vision and mission — “To bring Eastern learning to the West, and harmonize East and West across the world.
