Arts at DMIS

At Dragon Mandarin Immersion School, the arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education. We encourage students to explore their creativity, express themselves, and develop artistic skills that last a lifetime.

Fine Arts Programs

Our curriculum spans visual arts, music, theater, and dance. Students participate in hands-on projects, performances, and exhibitions that foster imagination, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Arts Calendar & Events

DMIS hosts a variety of arts events throughout the year, including school performances, gallery exhibitions, recitals, and cultural celebrations. These events give students a platform to showcase their talents and celebrate creativity within the school community.

Programs by Grade Level

Elementary School

Foundational exploration in drawing, painting, music, and performance.

Middle School

Skill development, experimentation, and creative collaboration.

High School

Advanced coursework, individual projects, and preparation for arts-focused higher education opportunities.

Private Instrument Lessons & Music Program

Students have access to private instrument lessons and structured music programs, allowing for personalized growth in performance, technique, and musical understanding.

Creative Opportunities

Through arts education, students gain discipline, confidence, and an appreciation for self-expression. They are encouraged to take creative risks, engage with diverse cultural perspectives, and develop a lifelong connection to the arts.
