At Dragon Mandarin Immersion School, we believe that rigorous academics, cultural understanding, and creative exploration go hand in hand. Our curriculum is designed to cultivate bilingual learners who are curious, confident, and ready to thrive in a global community.

Our academic model is designed as a full PreK4–12 Mandarin immersion journey.
We are currently enrolling elementary grades for our founding year, with middle and high school programs planned as part of our growth. If you are interested in grades 6-12, please contact us.
PreK-4 & Elementary School
Our elementary program lays the foundation for lifelong learning. Students develop strong skills in Mandarin and English, build a love for reading and math, and engage in hands-on STEAM activities. Character development, cultural exploration, and collaborative learning are at the heart of every lesson.
Middle School

Middle school students continue to expand their critical thinking, creativity, and leadership abilities. Our interdisciplinary approach integrates language learning with science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, preparing students to solve complex problems and explore their passions.

Our educators bring extensive bilingual teaching experience and a deep understanding of American instructional methods and student learning models. They excel at teaching students according to their individual strengths and needs, ensuring each child receives a comprehensive and effective Chinese education while steadily strengthening bilingual proficiency.
Beyond excellence in Mandarin language instruction, DMIS has established a comprehensive, well-structured curriculum that supports students at every stage of development. Our students consistently stand out in a wide range of competitions across the Houston area, including art, STEM, and mathematics, reflecting the school’s commitment to academic excellence and whole-child development.

We are currently pursuing Cognia accreditation as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of educational quality and continuous improvement. Cognia accreditation is a globally recognized mark of excellence that evaluates schools on rigorous criteria including teaching and learning, leadership capacity, and organizational effectiveness. Through this process, we are ensuring our school is built with excellence from the ground up to ensure our programs not only meet but exceed expectations for student growth, academic rigor, and institutional integrity.
